Jesper Svensson, PRO Triathlet / Top Swimmer
by Kaisa Jakobsen
Welcome back to Jesper “Fish” Svensson. So what happened since you last year were together with Jesper?
It is hard to understand, but Jesper would follow up his succesful 2017, and go far beyond: 2 Ironman wins, a personal record of 8.05, a Swedish 1/2 distance Champion, and many other good performances.
2019 he was racing in Roth and chasing to get on the highest podium, and finally ended up to fantastic second place. Then some Covid19 came and messed up racing, but when it was time to race again, Jesper was ready.
2021 ViceWorldChampion ITU Long Distance, with 7h.39min racing, and at that time the 3rd fastest time ever in the full distance.
So in the first weeks fish will pass by, and can look forward riding with the nicest legs on the camp again. And don't worry, Jesper is even more hungry now, and he is getting ready for some big racing again in 2022.
